So I understand the frustration, but I can also tell you it's for a good reason. The download is pretty hefty (weighs in at about 130 megs) and by deferring it to offpeak (same as our normal patches) we expose less people to the chance of getting d/c'd from their game and slammed by the patch and stuff.

I totally understand that everyone wants it now, but doing it at offpeak times for NA (just like it was done at offpeak for EUW and EUN) is to protect y'all from getting boinked by a bugsplat
